I can guarantee that even if the ps3 doesn't get a price drop for the whole year, it's WW sales won't fall below 100K any week of the year. It would still outsell the GC,n64 and xbox easily and possibly SNES as well. That's good enough.

Software can only push consoles so much, and it has to be a big game. Its debateable if Killzone will have any impact on hardware sales. In the dead months of summer (no MGS4 this year) sales will only slump further ....

 

Honestly it sold under 140k this week, sales in the summer months even worse ...

 

Wanna make a bet Seece? Software won't push the console's sales "so much", however, they'll keep it afloat. Ps3 had many dips in 2007 due to the "lack of games" not just the price. I think they can stay afloat without a price cut till 2009 but if the cell drops in price they can cut the price to sell even more.
