The year so far..... how long can Sony stand this?

Whether we get one or not, the bottomline is, the rumoured price cut is possibly another factor why sales are down.

I think a price cut will all depend on how well KZ2 shifts consoles. If there is a surge in sales, they will hold it off for longer. 200,000 a month is still pretty good for a console twice the price of it's competitor. The profits made from a surge in sales will only benefit Sony and ps3 owners as it will allow Sony to re-invest it on the IPs we are all waiting for.

 

There was actually proof that the price cut was coming last year, it was leaked by retailers.  A PS3 cut is pure speculation, people who are waiting now might be waiting for a whole year, if you're gonna wait for a year you might as well be waiting for a wii price cut and probably another 360 cut as well.
