 Actually this is Sony following the example of Nintendo =P There are plenty of Nintendo PR moves just from the 9 months the Wii has been out, and two examples of how to handle mistakes (see "wii-mote straps" and "endless ocean issues in japan")

Its good to see that Sony is getting the idea that customers should come first.  Now if MS can get the idea we will have a 100% customer oriented market. 

PS - Warranty extension doesn't count, the did it way too late after the issues were so widespread that they were forced to deal with it and it should of been a recall anyways.
