Google it, but I think you'll need a USB enclosure and a PC.
I too am going to upgrade my PS3 HD to a 500gb SATA drive.
One question - I read somewhere you need to keep your old drive with all your old files if you ever need to ship it back to Sony. True or false? Anyone with first-hand experience?
