Another thing going against the PS3 now is with so many people having Wii and Xbox 360's - other wants to get them as well so they can play with their friends. I was going to get a PS3 for Blueray (bonus game machine) but blueray players starts at $100 now. I ended up getting a $200 player that comes with a remote and 3 movies. So basically the perceived value for the extra $100-$150 against the other console is non existent. It will all come down to the games and experience.
