It's the first party developers like Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games that made their name so recognized in the gaming industry. What did Sony even develop? The Legend of Dragoon? How is buying and employing first party developers different then employing people to make games for you (Miyamoto)? If that's the argument to Sony not being able to count those games as their own achievement then why does Nintendo get to count everything that Miyamoto made?
