Killzone 2 is one of the most hyped(4 years of it) and one of the most expensive fps games of the most popular genre on Hd consoles and Halo wars is the complete opposite of all that. Moderately budgeted, not very hyped, and expected to fail as its a very unpopular genre on consoles |
But ( And here is the key thing you are forgetting). Is using the 'Halo' Franchise name. Much like Mario Tennis, Mario this, Mario that.
This is attaching the Halo fanbase to the game. Anyone who follows Mario games and the 150 variations of them can attest to the fact that just having Mario's name stamped onto it adds quite a few sales.
Like I said, I see Halo Wars selling about 4 million when you factor it all out total. The question is will Kill Zone 2 be able to net those type of sales? (I think so).
