You would get a lot of Japanese game right here and now and for cheap, too.

As for the topic, I say don't buy it. You obviously don't know if you want it or not, since you did say you're on the fence about it. I think you would be better off saving the money like you're planning and end getting something you actually want. There aren't many games on the Wii that are good. So you better love the 1 or 2 games you'll end up buying for it.

Bolded titles I could have a better experience on the PS3 with. Other games I couldnt careless about.

It's funny.  You list JRPG's, Racers and Shooters as your favourite gaming genres, and yet the only console you have never owned is the one that's the strongest in all three of them.
