Year-over-year PS3 sales drop bad news for Sony

It also depends on the timing of price cuts.  When one product is $199 for the cheapest model and only ~5 months from a price cut, while the other is sitting at $399 and hasn't had a price cut in a year and a half, there are going to be differences in sales.

 

What about a console that hasn't had any price cut since launch........ :O
