Well, even if you don't like poems, I will still recommend it. It is a good game, whether you like poems or not, but I hate most poems too, they're really boring, but I do feel philosophical from time to time, and I think it makes the game more enjoyable, if you feel that way from time to time, or if you can get sucked into a story emotionally etc.
