I love how IGN can take a game and mask petty gripes and whines behind a veil of praising a game. He basically said the SNES game was one of the best RPGs ever made. But that the DS game was inferior due to it not being enough of an improvement, in his eyes, to other remakes on the DS. And he has the ignorance to compare it to Chrono Trigger DS, which is a port with added features. While this game was a game created from the ground up with added material to all aspects of the game.
It is clear that his review, as all of BOzon's reviews do, just look for one thing to criticize and runs with it. And for the Dragon Quest remakes he feels the menues and overall game design is 'old and archaic'. But that's not a reason to basically say a whole game is inferior to all other remakes on the DS, and even the original SNES game.
