 Money. Have you been paying attention to financials? Everyone is struggling save Nintendo, Activision, Ubisoft and Konami.
Tons and tons of money is being lost in the video game industry, and lots of jobs are gone.

 

um there is an article saying activision had record revenue, but still a net loss.  So wouldn't say they are all peachy
