I agree. It really is an amusing situation.
It reminds me of a thread last night, a thread about a certain writer who wrote up something not so great about Killzone 2.
This came after this same user complained the previous week about the vast amount of Killzone 2 threads on the main page, only to then make his own and then try to convince people that
A.) "Hype backlash has begun!"
B.) This writers words was more valuable than the 100+ other reviewers who thought otherwise. All because he was in some TV Show?
Why not put it in the Official Killzone 2 thread like we are asked to do each time we post something positive? That is precisely why, it wasn't positive, so in this case the rules are allowed to bend (as usual these days) and now it is alright to post it on the main page.
What was even better about all of this was the fact that this writer he so adamantly wanted us to put our faith in hasn't played through Killzone 2 in its entirety. Not to mention his only weak points towards the game are things like storyline and actually said nothing at all about the actual gameplay, there wasn't even a mention of it what so ever.
Now we also have people saying that when it comes to companies showing bullshots where the game does not live up to the early photos, Killzone is by far the worst. Yet I am pretty sure that reviews and user impressions prove that false as well.
Day after day a new ridiculous excuse.
