Kwaad, I thought I dealt with you on a previous board. Whatever. Waste your life as you wish. Your statements about the Wii's power vs. the Ps2's power are ignorant and without any true merit. The original poster does not, as you say "understand that the Wii cant compete long-term with the big boys." (ROFL at the pun you made. The wii definitely can NOT compete with such behemoth-sized systems. Having a Ps3/360 is like having another refrigerator in the house.) BK88, I agree that the Wii will see a shorter life than perhaps the 360/Ps3, but it won't be a 2-3 year thing. The Wii's steadily increasing appeal will have the majority of non-gamers who really couldn't give a half a damn about "anti aliasing," "1080p," "triple core processing" or "AI" pining for more original titles. Yeah, Nintendo isn't just targeting the casual/hardcore gamer, they're targeting everyone. Anyone with a television and arms (be it only one arm). Think about it: the non-gaming community is vastly larger than the gaming community. If the media attention about the Wii spreads, and more non-gamers adapt to this quiet, bite-sized system, Nintendo will have no reason whatsoever to make a new console any time soon. (Oh, and for the love of God, play all systems. Don't freak out and immediately scream FANBOY FCKING FANBOY!!!!!!! FLAME HIM!!! I am a fanboy. A video game fanboy.)
