Yeah. But it bothers the same when I remember that stupid GTA games sold better than anything last generation.
Also, PS2 sold more than 120 million units. Do you REALLY think it was bought by hardcore gamers only? If it was, tell me where are all of these hardcore gamers now (not buying PS3, I'm sure). I mean, if they are hardcore and really care about Graphics, CPU, etc, why aren't they buying the PS3 or 360?
The fact is, PS2 sold a lot of (if not most) of its units to casual. And I include those who bought only for sports games or GTA (Look at me! I'm the greatest! I can kill anyone, stole cars. Sooooo cooool), or Singstar and Eyetoy games. The difference now is that Nintendo knows how to speak to these people and how to bring even more kinds of them. But hardcore games will always have buyers too. So, please, forget that casual games sell more. It's like the music market: the fact that hip-hop music sells more than anything doesn't stop people from doing other kinds of music (without hip-hop "interludes", please).
So, if that's the problem, forget about it. Now, if your problem is the fact that PS3 isn't doing well, I'm sorry. No one can help you with this one except for Nintendo, but they simply wont do what you want them to do. Oh, what a shame.
Awesome trailer for the new Ganbare Goemon game, to be released in March, 2009 for... Well, it's a Pachinko machine with a display. Oh, God.
*NEW SUPER MARIO BROS WII*: Now it's gonna happen!!! Thank you so much Nintendo.
