Disney loves the Wii, the Wii is cheaper to develop for, and Square Enix has already shown that they don't really care for console"Loyalty", especially when "loyalty" means putting their games on a console with only half of the user base of the rival.

Chances are it'll be Wii exclusive, of PS3/Wii.

Goddamit.....I'm getting sick of this saying. The only thing that Disney has put on the Wii is that Hannah Montana and High School Musical crap. KH3 is a completely different game than those two. And if it's budget we're talking about, Pure had a larger budget than those games....and look what systems it ended up on, and pay particular attention to the system it WASN'T on.

And the "loyalty" concept has to hold some weight, because like you said.....they're putting they're games on consoles with half the userbase of their rival (FFXIII, vXIII, Star Ocean, Last Remnant, etc).

With Nomura at the helm, it will definitely at least be on the PS3. Whether they decide to FFXIII it, and put it on the 360 is a toss up...but I don't see it as a shoe in for the Wii as you seem to think it is

Goddamit.....I'm getting sick of this saying. The only consoles that Disney brings in profits from are on the Wii and DS. All the HD consoles got was Turok and Pure exclusive, which didn't do very well.  KH3 is a completely different game than those two. And if it's budget we're talking about, Pure had a larger budget than those games only because it's an HD game....and look at how much it sold compared to Wii/DS games that have lower budgets and higher sales.

And the "loyalty" concept doesn't hold any weight, because the games on the HD consoles started years ago. Putting games on the Wii with a high userbase seems like a good idea, just look at where DQ X went. Not the DS. But the Wii.

Even with Nomura at the helm, it definitely doesn't matter. They decided to port FFXIII, and put it on the 360 and wasn't a toss up because some of the biggest selling HD games this gen are multiplat and doing the same to FF XIII would be doing the right then. I see it as a shoe in for the Wii, even if you don't think it is.

So because Hannah Montana cost $5 to make, and all the little kids that are on her bandwagon bought that game up and brought Disney a profit, KH3 is the same? Is KH3 as small as those games? I could have sworn that it was up there with Final Fantasy. And I would say that loyalty does hold weight, because otherwise why would SE games continue to be announced for the HD consoles? Did you hear of Infinite Undiscovery in 2005? 2006 even? Just because the Wii has a high userbase, that doesn't mean the game will sell well. Look at CoD:WaW. The demographic matters. If all the owners of the Wii were 4 year olds, do you think certain games would sell, despite the userbase technically being high? I would dare to say that the Wii userbase is an inflated number because most are "non-gamers". DQX is only ONE big SE game that's on the Wii. The rest are on the HD consoles, so don't let it go to your head.

And because Nomura is the lead designer, that definitely is going to be a factor in where it goes. Do you think if some other guy made MGS4, it would have been PS3 exclusive? It was because of Kojima that MGS4 is exclusive, and it's because of Nomura that FFvXIII is staying exclusive. When you think about it....who's making the game DOES matter.

And about FFXIII going multiplatform. You KNOW there was something going on behind the scenes....otherwise, why aren't they releasing it when it finishes on the PS3, which we know is going to be done first? Why do we have to wait extra months for the 360 to get done, when the PS3 version will be sitting on SE shelves, ready to be bought by the masses? M$ money, that's why.

If the Wii is simply "taking over" why aren't they porting FFXIII to the Wii then? The game is on Crystal Tools which apparently can run on the Wii. I've seen you say that you think FFXIII is a "casual" game. Why isn't this also being put on the Wii?

KH3 is a big budget game, and as you said "the biggest budget HD games are multiplatform and that's the right thing to do" so.....why do you think it should only be on the Wii, and not at least HD multiplatform?
