it has been said many times that you cant compare the sales of the wii version to the HD versions, CoD has a fanbase in the HD consoles while on the wii it is building fanbase, also many people who own a HD console and a wii bought it on the HD consoles because it had more features.

 

But the wii version has he Unique Wii Remote controls! But yeah you are right (although the Wii userbase already had COD 3).

 

3 was NOT the breakout game 4 was. Which system didn't have 4? THAT'S why WaW is selling lower numbers.

Attach rate has nothing to do with it.
