This explains why the Wii won't be getting Modern Warfare 2, not worth the effort when WAW is having trouble selling even a million lol.

 

As I spoke with a friend at IW, they've already been told they are to make MW2 for Wii as well. That means that the Wii IS getting modern warfare 2. Nice try tho.

Oh, I didn't know you were a developer also. I generally get to meet people at a lot of events, like GDC and whatnot. I'll double verify the data at the upcoming GDC. Maybe I'll see you there?

 

 

 

Just a question if you can answer it.. How long ago was this? I mean MW2 has been in development for a year now so if they only started now.. It may be yet another gimped game

 

Im not sure when they started it, but I spoke to him last month. Hard to gage. Basically IW didnt want to do Wii games, and Activision said "yes, you are, if you want to continue making COD games" So IW might be doing it a bit begrudgingly.
