Well that isn't to say we haven't been getting any JRPG's, it is just that the quality level is nowhere near what it was the last 2 generations. Back on PS1 JRPG were all over the place and we had tons of to notch titles, PS2 wasn't as much but it was still more than enough to keep the long time JRPG fan like myself content.

It is just that I know something is wrong when my best JRPG experiences this gen have come from the console without an abundance of JRPGs. Speaking of Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles. Around this time last gen I would have steamrolled though 6+ quality JRPG titles already.
