will the dsi have (or already has) a nintendo channel?

I have a DSi! :)
No, the DSi does not have a Nintendo Channel. And, it doesn't save play data (or, at the very least, if it does there is currently no user interface for accessing that information).

So far I have downloaded only a handful of games/applications (about 5 total, I think) from the DSWare store, and still have a lot of internal memory available.
I, too, hope for a DSi virtual console, because I've never owned a GameBoy.
