The Japanese have one of the lowest birth rates in the world. That means Japan will have fewer young people than most of the rest of the world on average.

? Can't see your logic.   FishyJoe is correct I just want to add that the Japanese youth also is emigrating a lot more than ten years ago.  The pressure of a hard future is the reason of the emigration growth. (To give you an idea, the last five year the Japanese residents in NA/EU has doubled).
