I am a huge RTS fun. Spent so many hours on AOE, Rise of Nations and StarCraft. I was really worried about the controls. Can it beat a mouse?
It took me a couple of games to have the controls grow on me. But now it is really smooth and fast. I am actually enjoying it more than StarCraft!
Spent 2-3 hours on the demo. The campign was too easy. In skirmish it took me a couple of tries to figure out how to beat the AI constantly.
But we all know where the real fun is going to be: Multiplayer!
Halo Wars is going to be a hugely popular xbox live hours burner. I see it third after H3 and GoW2. Yes, ahead of COD4 in terms of on-line popularity.
For the first time, RTS is is going to be big on a console!
