| kn said: 1. I was apalled to see the cliche exploding barrells always "just in the right place". That has gotten really old. 2. I would also have liked to see a bit of variety in bad guys. All the same dudes. 3. The demo AI isn't "smart" IMO, either. I've read they are clever but they just seem like more cannon fodder most of the time. Yeah, they duck, but they also pop their head up and get blasted, too. 4. I was amped up about the game after all the hype but after having played the demo, I'm going to wait for it to come out and read some later reviews. 5. All the 10s the game has gotten (as well as other games this gen) are highly misleading as the game, in my opinion, a bit uninspired, and cliche. 6. In the end, it does look like a polished version of COD and that isn't a bad thing. Based on the demo, however, it isn't the defining game of this generation or of this genre. |
1. They aren't all "just in the right place" and in fact you have to blast open containers for some of them.
2. There are a variety of bad guys just like different soldiers in an army. They don't have to look completely different. Some guys use rocket launchers and 1 guy, a Saboteur, had a one-shot rifle.
3. Normal difficulty. The AI is pretty good, imo. You have to look out at some point and try to shoot the enemy. Do you expect them to just sit there until you get to them?
4. How many more reviews do you need? There are 40 reviews on metacritic and over 100 on this site's official thread (which would have been a good place to post thoughts...or the demo thread...or the many others...)
5. You do realize that reviews aren't just based on the demo, I hope?
6. Last I checked, CoD4 was a great game, but KZ2 isn't too similar, especially when it comes to multiplayer.
