simple. I only have 1 Wii in my house. Most people only have 1 of whatever system. Not all my friends buy the same and all games.
So with splitscreen if i have poeple over we can play the game. we dont' have to worry about having another Wii, or them leaving to go hom eand go on their Wii and have the game I want to play and go online. And much more. Splitscreen is simple easy pop and play on the system.
Splitscreen >>>>>>> all others big time. Sure if had a couple or few whatever TV's in the same room then yea Lan or online would be better cause each have own screen. But only a few people have set ups like that. Its so much easier splitscreen

Good that you answered this. You said earlier that LAN is retarded and only for super nerds which made me post this.
How is it so much "nerdier" to play on lan than on splitscreen? Setting up a lan isn't that hard either, just rack up some monitors/tv:s and play. You don't have to suffer from the minimal view area, so it is inifinitely better than splitscreen. It does not make lan retarded or for only super nerds just because you don't have enough screens.
