I suppose I fit in this catagory, since my PS3 is currently getting the least use. Thread reminded me to download the KZ2 demo - thanks. Now that I've played it...
Depends. I see what everyone has been saying about the control problems... honestly, it's a game breaker for me if they don't fix it. They say the "weighted" feel was a design decision - but it makes me feel like I'm fighting the controls, rather than the enemy. I enjoy CoD4 because the controls are about as tight as they can be with analog sticks. The ideal control for me is the mouse, but it's not as practical, which is why I'd love a good Wii shooter.
By the way, if they added a "weighted" feeling to a first person shooter on the PC, by lagging the mouse controls, you bet I'd pass up on it. It's not really an issue of getting used to it, I just think the design sucks. Controls are supposed to translate to the game exactly how I want to control my character, and KZ2's accelerated turning is working against this.
I was hoping KZ2 could be my CoD4 replacement, but I may have to just wait for Modern Warfare 2.
edit: I should add that some of my favorite games do have flawed controls, but I just have to deal with it. Gears 2, for example... lots of room for improvement. It can be a pain in the ass, but there isn't a shooter like it. KZ2 on the other hand is just another FPS, so everything needs to be perfect.
