Frankly it just sounds like the doc's staff is more at fault then himself. Even if he uses older tools he can still perform abortions better than the clothes hanger abortions that killed thousands upon thousands of women so this isnt really anything to go by.
While i do agree with the suspension in terms of the fact 23 weeks is way to late for an abortion and his medical staff should have been told how to handle early births before operations like abortions. I think he should have just not been allowed to perform abortions. With the US so short on doctors as is we could use any help we can get from those trained in the field.
This whole story isnt really sick as the stories of clothes hanger abortions. Why dont you look those up.
