when you keep track of the number of threads there are on a certain topic... well... u really need something better to do. I said threads, but I was also thinking about the multiple people each week in the "NA SALES UP" thread that said DS is dead, or that no one is buying DS because they are waiting for the DSi...

I was getting tired of having to correct them each week.

Wow... Uncalled for personal attack? Well, I just took the number of weeks with low DS numbers (3) added 1 thread to that (1) and skimmed to see if I could find any (except for the 3). Didn't. Took me around 2 minutes to correct you. I too am getting tired of that.

 

if you consider me saying you need to find something better to do, a personal attack, well that seems a little overly sensative. I was just making a suggestion. You also seem to get kicks of trying to prove everyone wrong all the time, I really doupt you get tired of it.

Your sarcasm in your response to my post, would be considered a personal attack by what your standards seems. Again, I said nothing to warrant arrogant sarcasm, people kept saying DS was dead, and I am glad we wont be hearing that for a bit. Nothing wrong with that.

this had nothing to do with post count. I do not consider Ony an obesessive poster at all, he just seems to correct people alot. I average 6-7 post a day he averages 8 or 9, that can be done in 30 minutes unless you are writing novels.

 

 

 

I correct people when they have the wrong facts. I'm sorry if you dislike that, but I feel that a discussion is generally much more valid (and interesting) when people have the correct information.

 

And yes, I do use arrogant sarcasm a lot. I generally use it on people I believe have a well developed (read: more like mine) humouristic sense, but I see that you dislike it - so I'll quit being sarcastic in replies to your posts. Happy?

 

Oh, and finally - the "personal attack" from my side was an attempt to be sort of the same I believed you said. After reading your post, I believe you reacted roughly the same way as I did (although you may have worded yourself slightly better there).

no, If I try to represent something false as truth you should correct me. But my issue in this instance was I made a subjective comment, about not having to hear about DS demand fallout and you corrected that.

It is really hard to disprove a subjective comment. Although you do seem to be OCD about correcting people, I think that actually is a good thing. But can get overbaring. We need people to point of incorrect facts, so we can know the truth. I guess in this instance I went back to what you said to Smokesaugage a while back, and it was similiar, so it bothered me.
