Killzone 2 aim/look speed: Realism? Or bad attempt at it?

First time I played the demo my character movement seemed sooooo slow. I was not used to this speed at all.

By the time I got around to playing it a second and more importantly a third time the controls felt absolutely awesome.

I later found out L3 makes me run, lol. I never ran in 4 playthroughs. No wonder my first play through took 16:34.

I am still trying to get accustomed to the aiming but to be honest I love it. I also love the weighted feeling, no more floating!
