Title is misleading because...it's not true.

While I think Valve is utterly moronic for not developing on the PS3 because they're too uppity to bother learning the architecture, he IS entitled to his opinion. I think, in the long run - and I'm talking years from now - they're bitterness toward Sony will eventually catch up with them.

As for right now, they make their money..they don't need to port to the PS3 - but they're stupid not to..it's garunteed money, and I don't care how much money you make as a company - what's wrong with some extra income? If you can sell a few extra MILLION units, why would you pass that up? As I said..their stance will come back to haunt them.

Why does anyone care what Gabe thinks or what is company does or doesn't want to do? Doesn't the PS3 have enough stuff? Whining about Gabe and Valve is like whining about Kojima not wanting to bring MGS to the 360. It is his choice, so be it.

Also, how do we know it is "guaranteed money"? Was Bioshock on the PS3 "guaranteed money"? Did they even break even with it? How about The Orange Box? Was that "guaranteed money"?

A "few million extra sales"? Did Bioshock on the PS3 do this? Anyone know what The Orange Box did on the PS3?

It didn't even sell 200,000 copies (according to this site). It did 850,000 copies (according to this site) on the 360.

If doing a port doesn't even cover the costs of development for a system, why should a company do it? There are VERY FEW titles that break into multimillion copies on the PS3. There are times when games need to NOT be multiplatform.

I agree,I wonder if i made a thread saying

360 Shuts up (whateverhisnameis)

And Gears 2 proves it!
