@Smash_Brother - A week? Try months; Deus Ex was fantastic. You probably don't like Deus Ex 2 for many of the reasons you didn't love Bioshock. Perhaps keep in mind that Deus Ex really had only 1 more ending than Bioshock and that how you played the game up to that point did not affect what ending you got (until you have to choose at the end I mean), but there's no doubt that there were more options (bribe someone as opposed to killing them, etc.) Of course I can't imagine those types of options fitting very well into Bioshock considering the game's scenario, but still.
I wish Bioshock had done a number of things differently, but many of the things it did do right were done very very right, and the experience on the whole is just unmissable for me.
@silenteion - "The popularity of this game is only going to serve to grow the FPSRPG genra. [sic]"
BINGO! We have a winner. I've said this before; the RPG element of Bioshock may be reduced from System Shock 2, but suddenly many people are playing an FPSRPG who never even heard of the genre at all. System Shock 2 couldn't do that. That is an accomplishment that I think will lead to brighter days for gaming.
Oh, and silenteion: don't hesitate; Get Deus Ex and System Shock 2 right away. You'll probably spend 30 bucks total. They're phenominal. Significantly different from each other in their strengths, but both very deep FPSRPGs and both extremely memorable. Two of my favorite games of all time, no question.

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.
