I'm correct. As Saturn was released in 1995 if I remember correctly. Genesis was like what... 4 - 5 years before it. Dreamcast was like 1998?

 

 Master System vs NES, Genesis vs SNES, Saturn vs N64/PS1, Dreamcast vs PS2/Xbox/GC. The PS1 and Saturn launched in a similar timeframe. The Genesis I think was 89ish. The early systems are easy to lump in together given it is denoted by the x-bit tags.

I want to know how he figures the N64 was duking it out with the PS2 and Xbox.

 

Simple, the GC was horrid. I owned every Nintendo console made and still own my NES, SNES, and N64. The GC I dint even want to think existed and the Wii im considering buying again.

So imho the N64 lasted the time it was launched till the Wii was launched. The GC didnt exist because of how bad it was. The ColicoVision was better.
