My first answer is yes. but then again, it depends on how differently they may design the game. If it causes problems than I guess not, it'll be hard to tell until the game is made.

Yeah I am in the same boat, I loved the Runeword.

Cooldown timer on Teleport would even things out a lot more though, especially PVP. Just a small change like that could open up the possibility of so many more builds being able to compete against each other.

Teleport is in Diablo 3. Its very different from its Sorceress counterpart as the wizard teleports in the air and requires to land upon teleporting. Longer Animation time which I think is a bigger handicap than having a longer cool-down. Wizard's seem to play entirely different from Sorceress's to begin with anyway.

The very basics of it all, Sorceress's use Fire, Lightning, and Ice magic. Wizard's use Arcane, Conjure, and Storm magics. They share some similar spells, but other spells are entirely different.

Its hard to view diablo 3 in the same PvP rules as Diablo 2 has, Diablo 2 has gone though numerous balancing patches and no-doubt blizzard has learned, and has put considerable resources towards fine-tuning what already was a fun PvP system. Who knows what that means in the near future.

I believe Blizzard will make it even better.

Thanks for the good post. I learned a bit from it.

No problem, here is two links that are very entertaining and insightful, one is a gameplay video which is fun to watch. The other is the wizard's talent tree which is still most likely in the working phase and will no doubt see changes. But its good to know what has been planned.

As for the wizard's power. I'm more concerned about Slow time + Teleport in a PvP usage. Somehow it seems to be a effective melee trap since slow time can slow movement speeds as well and the bubble is rather well. Big. Espically if your stuck in the middle of that.

P.S - As for Terra being the most powerful final fantasy character ever? I dunno, its pretty close between trance-form kuja and esper-form terra. They both have amazing power but terra hasn't taken down a entire world in anger. So when it comes to terra, she definately is the most powerful girl in final fantasy. But being the most powerful character is still a debatable subject.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?
