It's nice to see that I became so popular that people are mentioning me in their thread title.

I don't think patching is a great thing because developers very well think "who cares, let's make a patch later on, we have to release this game this holiday season (just an example)". If people can't expect a nearly bugfree game anymore for paying $60, there's something wrong. But the main problem of patches is that not everybody has his/her console with online access, those people are screwed with a buggy game.

1. yes I think there should be more threads with stoppable or unstoppable in the title, it just sound epic.

2. Do you guys really think Bioshock is a buggy game ??? Buggy games don´t get great reviews, take a good look at games like Gothic 3, that game was a bug apocalipse, it was so bad the devs gave up patching it. I played that game unpatche and must say it had elements of Big Rigs, it was nothing more than a pre-beta and they sold it for 60 euros to fans of Gothic two which was a great game, there is a big difference between patching little bugs that happer here and ther but don´t make or brake a game and releasing a unfinished game and than saying "it´s ok we´ll fix it.... some day" But yes, console games should be at least "nearly" bug free since not everybod has online. Still Bioshock would not get such rave reviews (I love alliterations) if it wasn´t nearly bug free.

@ leo-j: What does microsoft have to do with Bioshock bugs ???

Very good question sir, this is a third party game I think. The only problem is that the updates have to go through microsoft first, and they allowed it to go through.
