Praising for pretty much just the graphics? Sounds like how the hype went with Gears 2, but I didn't see everyone complaining about it then like they are now. This is same reason Alan Wake is currently being hyped, graphics alone, since we have like no gameplay.
As for not focusing on Multiplayer. The reviews for this game are saying nothing but great things about the multiplayer, in the Official Thread as well as the Clan thread everyone is pumped for the multiplayer. On this site alone MakingMusic476 has done more than enough to put the focus on the multiplayer.
