Your character dies at the ending of SR1, which does pave the way for SR2, but in such a way as to not interfere with a new player getting in on a Saints Row game for the first time. On the other hand, Mass Effect is very plot-driven, and I highly doubt the story is going to be as forgiving as the story arc from Saints Row 1 to Saints Row 2. It's like putting someone in the middle of The Empire Strikes back, and thinking they're going to already understand the whole idea of the Star Wars series vs. having them thrown in on a Friday the 13th sequel. Big difference. |
bad anology considerig thats exactly what lucas did. star wars was actually the 4th installment but first movie
