If history holds up he's just going to say the same thing about the PS3 and Xbox360 in the comming weeks, these guys are too shy, tor them they want 1 leg in every door and rightfully so.

WHAT would of made the key difference is if he said Wii platform is being heavily considered for core development for all or >50% of their multiplatform titles. Within that same breath he would also have to say they would be producing a moderate ammount less as far as products go.

Otherwise that part of his statement was just investor fluff and should be taken with a bowl of salt.

The loss is stupendous, in the end darth I'm sure that the higher over head and cost of production didn't help them, not saying they didn't see profit, I am saying they didn't see as much profit as they expected from each individual title.

At this point EA should be considering seeing as what Wii sports has done: If EA is doing the NFL a favor by using their players likeness in their games or if the NFL is doing them the favor. In the end the NFL's burden should be increased.

If they do start working on the Wii platform, I'd say that they should use EA Big over Maxis or any other sub teams they have working there, EA Big knows how to make games that pack a psuedo Nintendo quality to them that may appeal to the Wii audience, they made one mistake on the Wii and I'm hoping they learned from it.

Honestly EA Big just needs to find itself again, it's sad what they've been putting out lately.

Spore was a PC success wasn't it?
