you searched developers. Like I said, people type different things. The search does an exact search, so it works correctly. It may not have very good features, but it does work the way it is supposed to.

If you seach "Nintendo EAD Tokyo" you get Super Mario Galaxy, which is correct, as that is the developer that someone typed in.

Really, we need to change developers so it works the same way as publishers, that way everything is consistent. I don't think we should differentiate between Nintendo R&D 1, Nintendo R&D 2, Nintendo R&D 3, ect... However, we should differentiate between Nintendo, Retro, and Intelligent Systems.

An exact search is useless in this for companies with multiple dev teams like Nintendo because when I type in Nintendo, I want to see everything internally developed by Nintendo. Not showing me Super Mario Galaxy or the rest makes it pretty much worthless.

Right now the vgChartz game database is crap compared to the gamefaqs database when it comes to information I'm interested in however the one thing vgChartz can offer that I can't get from gamefaqs is a developer search.  I can get the information on all games developed and published by Nintendo here but if vgChartz could offer a complete listing of games just developed by a company then it would be terrific.

Ideally I'd like fields for publisher, developer, and team.  That way I could find everything published by Sega or developed by Sega or developed by Sega's Overworks/WOW team.  Right now, the game database is simply not useful to me as-is.
