Because C&C:RA actually has depth. Plus the comedy aspect of how the story is told.

Yep, this game is going to be a streamlined RTS. It could probably be called an 'arcade' RTS. Base building is extremely streamlined. You can have multiple bases, but only in predefined spots that you find on the map. Is this a bad thing? For some, yes. There are still reseach trees, a variety of turrets, cover emplacements on the map, etc, to provide for varied strategies and varied experiences. It will be less about building your infrastructure and more about planning you attacks. If you love to micromanage your RTSs, this game is not for you. If you love the army building aspect of RTS games, you will probably enjoy yourself. |
Well that sounds awesome. Real RTS's don't have that base building crap. So anything that minimizes that pointless activity is appreciated.

WarCraft, StRCraft, Command and Conquer, Sins of a Solar Empire, etc arent real RTSs? Last time I checked they are the big names of the RTS genre. And guess what, they have base building.
