Did you not read my entire post?

Also, all of those kills in those videos were one shot kills. And yes, I too, do not care for one-two shot kills such as realistic military games.

Ok yes but did you see just how much skill is required for those 1 shot kills? Those 1 or 2 shot kills in those slow games are friken hit scan weps with fast firing speeds. You need hella skill to get 1 shot kills in UT, I can list them here actually:

Flack at point blank, Full charge shield gun, Shock combo (and only if it's close enough), full charge bio rifle, at least 2 rockets loaded, headshots.

And those are true only if the target is not healthed or shielded. I hope you realize how difficult it is to pull those scenarios off unless you got some VERY serious skill up your sleeves.

Hey, I agree with ya dude. But flack cannon point blank is not hard. Headshots are not hard as well. I can pown with the lightning gun. Full charge bio rifle is mostly worthless, unless you get some luck shots like in those videos, which make it entertaining to use. I don't think I have ever been killed by a fully charged shield gun. I can pown hard with the rockets as well. Then there are tank shots, redeemer, etc. I love squishing people too.

Flak point blank is harder than you think, unless the guy you are up against is retarded and doesn't keep his distance. In UT2004 EVERYONE can get distance on someone else from the simple fact that the dodge-jump will get you enough to not die from the flak. The rockets are the cheapest kill, however by the time you charge up at least two rockets two things will happen, 1) The guy hears the loading, 2) if it's a duel he can get off a whole lot of shots in and prepare for the rockets. Also for headshots, they are only easy if the guy doesn't jump dodge off the walls. Especialyl with the goddamned flips and crap in midair.

Again, it takes skill to take someoen from 100 to 0 in one hit without the other person having ANY ability to retaliate is a lot closer to the "pro" status than it is in any other current game.

To further my point, in recent games you can't really dodge incoming fire out in the open. You jsut hide and shoot a lil then hide again. In Q and UT you are moving extremely fast, the target is moving extremely fast, and through all that you keep your aim straight. It just takes far far more skill. That's why UT (not 3) and Quake (not 4) are the measureing sticks of real skill in an FPS, not CS or some other bullshit game.
