Yes; Bella is a shallow wooden character who doesn’t develop, yes Stephanie Meyer is a crap writer but she should explain why and use extracts from the book to back it up or she’s no better than the people who keep telling her Stephanie Meyer is a genius.

I also have to say that I don’t agree with calling the book ‘sexist’. She points out that the female cast is shallow which yes they are, however neglects to mention the fact the so is the entire cast as well. It really seems like a neo-feminist nee-jerk reaction to a problem that encompasses the male cast as well.

If she’s seeking to solely make a point then what she has done here is fair but if she’s looking for any more serious recognition, she best review her work.

 

With the rules of the contest they had to be short essays under 1000 words and you basically can hit upon your points with those types of restrictions but it leaves you unable to fully explain it.

Edit: not really an essay more of a rant article then essay.
