As you can see here, Sony is only expecting to break even on hardware towards the end of 2009 / early 2010, so I think you can forget about price cuts this year. Maybe mid to late 2010.
PS3's price was dropping too fast anyway... If it dropped to 300 € this year, it would be half price just 2 years after launch here in Europe.
