Parokki: Totally forgot about the DS's numbers, and I see it being a real possibility, given how much it's been selling over the last few years.

I think there's a good possibility for the Nintendo DS to outsell the PS2, but I don't consider handhelds and home consoles to be direct competitors (I myself expect much more from a home console regarding audio and visual output).

The reason why I think there's a good possibility is that for example I and my girlfriend both own a Nintendo DS, but we wouldn't buy two seperate PS2s or PS3s for just within one home. I think it would make more sense to just buy an additional controller for multi-player fun or maybe eventually a PSP for the PS3 if some interesting PS3 games in the future support the PS3's remote play feature (you can have an additional dedicated screen this way).

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
