shio: I think some 75% of my games are used... And that's the same for both PC and console games. I've also bought almost every game I own, new and used, from an online stores and used games pretty much from an online auction. It's only some 2€ more to the price and takes two to three days to deliver. Would be longer if I ordered from some other country, though, but hey, I could still take it. Actually I've done so a few times already.
I won't give any of my money to Valve no matter how good the offer, especially if my "ownership" is all online. And of your examples... I don't like Bioshock (judging by the demo) and I already own pretty much all id games I'm interested in. Oh, and generally Steam isn't cheper anyway. If it weren't for my hate for DRM, I would already have fallen for Steam's offers, though.
