I hate it simply because it's useless and gimmicky most of the. The only thing it's good for is mini-games like Wii Sports and those type of games. I mean, I'm playing Symphonia 2 right now and it's like, "I gave up cool graphics and epic cut scenes just to point the sorcerer ring at stuff?"
Wii mote really doesn't have a place in deeper games because it's so flawed. It doesn't add to gaming, it replaces things... great things. Wii games will always have to sacrifice something effective because of it's controler, and you can never get deep gameplay out of it. It just isn't possible.
