The PS3 one you have to recharge I think. 360 and Wii use normal AA batteries, so you can either use rechargeable ones or disposable ones (which I wouldn't recommend).
Personally I use 4 rechargeable batteries and I usually have a pair of charged ones waiting for the other pair to run out.
