They should have ripped off Boom Blox for shuriken controls. That would've been great. The movement control is disappointing, too. You really ought to be able to creep in a stealth game. I guess these ninjas are silent at any speed.
Now I want a poster that reads:
Ninjas: Silent at any speed!
I'm glad the duel mode works well though. I had my doubts about that. Maybe they can implement some tighter (WM+!!!) controls in the sequel.
