Also with regard to people using Svens marketing budget figures to expected sales and whatever, I think it's a bit out of context.

Zack and Wiki was intended to be a new IP, a big franchise, I addressed alot of the ideals of what this means with my post regarding Viewtiful Joe. Anyway, Capcom probably had ambitions for Zack and WIki to do on Wii what Ace Attourney did on DS. That is, lots of sequels, maybe a DS spin off.

They weren't investing $2 million in advertising expecting 400k Wii sales, they were expecting it to establish a strong brand that could be successful through the whole of the Wii life - hence why they made sure the game was good, and didn't let it be some shovalware junk.

I think Sven was just too pissed off to explain himself to what were mainly just bitch troll posts with little meaning. I don't know for myself and I guess it's open for interpretation, but I severely doubt, personally, Capcom invested that money expecting Zack and WIki to become the best selling third party Wii game straight off the bat.

Still we see people making up guesstimate figures to try and say Capcom were in the wrong or something though...sigh.
