The US version was censored partly, other versions have a bit more violence and stuff in it.  It was claimed that DC are the ones who wanted the violence toned down, but that doesn't explain why the non US copies were censored also.

 

Anyway, it is the best MK game in years, the MK series really did dive into crap-realm (see what I did there).  MK vs DC is an ok game, but it is nothing special.

I don't think they were that terrible. Like the MK 3D games were superior to most 2D to 3D jumps. See King of Fighters and Street Fighters previous 3D efforts and MK Deception or Armageddon is miles better. It jsut wasn't the top of the line software it used to be...and it still isn't despite MK vs DC being solid.
