I am interested in these oddities in Japan, all three consoles took sizable drops for the week ending Aug 26th and didn't correct themselves at all the following week. I expect +/- 10% in any given week, so the 26th was very weird with all of them outside of that by nearly double or more...and in the same direction even. Even the DS/PSP were both effected.
Aug 26th
Wii = -33%
PS3 = -26%
360 = -19%
DS = -32%
PSP = -25%
Sep 2nd
Wii = 0%
PS3 = +8%
360 = -8%
DS = -10%
PSP = -1%
Perhaps I am tired and missing something but I know there has to be a reason for it and I cannot place my finger on it. Anyone know?
