Continually swinging the Wii Remote is tiring at best and dangerous at worst.
I can tell you that Soul Calibur Legends and Samaura Warriors are not fun because of their control approach. (I returned Dragon Blade before playing it -- even though I got it for only $10 -- because of the same fear). These games tend to be one-trick ponies. It is just Nintendo appears to have realized this before the competition.
Meanwhile, NMH limits the movement to special moves. That makes more sense.
